Roth Creamery

Say hello to Monroe.

Our chalet is nestled in Monroe, among the rolling hills of Green County Wisconsin. Monroe is a town focused—no, obsessed—with everything cheese. From a Cheese Days Festival, to cheese parades and crowning of the cheese queen, we knew from the start this was a region that would expect nothing less than excellent. Today, we combine our old-world cheesemaking methods with state-of-the-art technology. Our cellar masters meticulously tend to the cheese throughout the aging process so each batch that leaves our care meets your highest expectations. From European-style classics to American Originals, excellence is all that leaves our doorstep.

Our local garage band.

Deliciousness in action.

Each year, we welcome thousands of people to tour the Roth Chalet. Our viewing hall lets you observe the art and science behind our cheesemaking process. Up close and personal.

Our cheesemakers get an early start to the day, so the best time to catch some action in the viewing hall is between 9:00am to 1:00pm. Even those obsessed with cheese take a day off. Our store and viewing hall are closed on New Year’s day, Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
