Apple Berry Crisp

Ingredients

  • ¾ cup steel cut oats
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons sea salt
  • ¼ cup butter, melted
  • 1 cup Roth Prairie Sunset, shredded
  • 1 cup seasonal berries, chopped
  • 3 medium apples, cored, chopped
  • Vanilla ice cream (optional)
  • Whipped cream (optional)
  • Maple syrup (optional)

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 375° Grease an 8” x 8” baking pan.
  2. Combine oats, brown sugar, salt and butter; mix thoroughly.
  3. Toss together Roth Prairie Sunset™, berries and apples; transfer to baking pan.
  4. Spread oat mixture on top of fruit.
  5. Bake for approx. 30 minutes until topping is golden brown.
  6. Remove from oven and allow crisp to sit and cool for approximately 15 – 20 minutes before serving.
  7. Top with ice cream or whipped cream and a drizzle of maple syrup (optional).
