Recipe by: Amanda Paa, Heartbeet Kitchen

Ingredients

  • 1 Ball canning jar or other similar glass jar
  • 1 to 2 (6-oz) wedges Roth Grand Cru® cheese, cut into 3/4-1 inch cubes
  • Dried chiles
  • Fresh herbs, including thyme and rosemary
  • Lemon or other citrus peel
  • Garlic cloves
  • Olives
  • Spices, including peppercorns and crushed red pepper flakes
  • High-quality extra-virgin olive oil

Method

  1. Grab a glass jar.
  2. Loosely pack your jar with cubed Grand Cru®, and then stuff your aromatics into the open crevaces. Choose from the list above—lemon peel, fresh thyme, dried chiles, olives, garlic—it’s all fair game.
  3. Pour in olive oil to cover all cheese. Close up jar, and refrigerate for up to a week!
